An overview of the Research Center for Zoonosis Control of Hokkaido University and its activities were introduced to the students.  Following the lecture, students were encouraged to ask questions.  For most of the students, it seems to be the first time they have encountered the subject of zoonosis control. They became aware of the importance of zoonosis control and listened intently with deep curiosity and interest. It was no doubt an inspired, insightful and invaluable experience for all of the students involved.
