The Open Seminar: Strategy for the Control of Zoonoses
The open seminar was held on July 8, 2017 at Hotel Mystays Sapporo Aspen. The top researchers world-renowned in the field of infectious diseases research gave a seminar on strategy for the control of zoonoses and also background, purpose and achievement of the GI-CoRE project in English. In order to deepen the audience’s understanding as the seminar’s target was the general public, slides were shown in Japanese and English. The audience seemed to find the seminar inspiring and it was followed by an active question and answer session. The seminar was attended by 92 participants and was a great success.
